Community Engagement

Community Engagement is a hands-on outreach program that brings vital resources and support directly to the neighborhoods that need them most. From health fairs and resource drives to clean-up events and educational workshops, we work alongside community members to create stronger, safer, and more connected communities.

We partner with local organizations, schools, and volunteers to ensure services are accessible, inclusive, and driven by community voices.

The GrandGuardians Program is dedicated to supporting grandparents and other guardians by offering guidance, resources, and practical assistance to help them succeed in their caregiving roles. Our program provides personalized care; offering tailored self-care experiences – to renew and honor their ongoing commitment and support. In addition, we provide educational workshops with topics such as; computer literacy, cyber security, and other topics to empower guardians to navigate the challenges of caregiving. Through this program, we honor the vital role these caregivers play in the lives of children.

The DEA program encompasses financial and administrative support to aide in obtaining a driver’s license, coordinating the entire process. This program is a response to a vital need in the community. This addresses the driving/traffic violations, which are common entry points into the criminal justice system. 

With this program, we walk each individual through the entire process: starting from gathering pertinent documents all the way through until they receive their physical drivers license in hand.

Fresh Steps is a community outreach program that provides brand-new shoes to children in need, helping them walk with comfort, confidence, and dignity. We partner with schools, shelters, and local organizations to ensure every child receives shoes that fit — because every step matters.

Whether it’s for school, play, or everyday life, proper footwear is essential for a child’s health, self-esteem, and success. Through donations, shoe drives, and volunteer support, Fresh Steps is making sure no child is held back by something as basic as shoes.
